More Information

Quantum Secure Direct Communication (QSDC) is one of the earliest quantum communication algorithms capable of transmitting information through quantum packets, relying on classical communication only for coordination and support. Although its theoretical foundations are well established, practical implementations that address pragmatic issues remain limited. We consider design and implementation of alternative QSDC strategies using the Quantum Internet Simulation Package (QuISP), with respect to Long et al. 2007. We explore the impact of eavesdroppers, as well as congestion avoidance in networked quantum services. We explore stealthy adversarial strategies and tackle how to distinguish malicious attacks from system malfunctions, as each requires a fundamentally different response (e.g., error correction vs. attack mitigation).
